DescriptionThere are 5 playable multiplayer nations in Men of War from Russia, Germany, USA, the British Commonwealth and Japan. Those nations vary a lot from each other, i.e. the Commonwealth has good ordnance firepower and strong middle class tanks, while Japan has a very strong artillery weapons (such as 200mm rocket launchers and 120mm naval gun carriers), but suffers from poorly armored tanks. Germans were well-prepared before they started the war, while Russian army was less equipped and ready to the military operations. The USA soldiers prefer stealth tactics, and their tanks are poorly armored, but well mounted!

DescriptionThe AI in Men of War fights well on its own, but tactical decisions and strategy depend on the player. Every soldier or vehicle has its own inventory. Soldiers and vehicles can be reequipped with more powerful weapons. Troops can also gather ammo from enemy bodies.
It was a very complex task to rearm a group of infantry, especially, if you had a bunch of poorly equipped soldiers. From now on squads reequip with weapons automatically. A sniper will search for a weapon matching his skills, a gunner searches for the weapons that suit him, etc.

DescriptionDuring operation "Mercury" which took place on Crete soldiers used parachutes, so the player will need those too! There are parachutes that allow every sort of unit to jump down from the sky instead of using scriptis, like it was before. One of the new features is that AI will be able to spot dead bodies lying beneath their feet. That is why we added a new option - soldiers in Men of War can carry dead bodies into bushes, away from the battlefield.

DescriptionThe grass in Men of War is not simply a decoration, it is also a very important gameplay element, when you can hide your antitank guns perfectly. Being almost unnoticed by enemies, advancing troops can be easily spotted by the moving grass. But this doesn't always turn out to be advantage: the moving grass can be caused not by a few infantry men, but by a deadly Tiger tank aiming at you!

DescriptionEach nation in Men of War gained its individuality according to the realities of the WWII. This means that every nation has its own advantages and disadvantages, and the balance is not reached by a contraposition of similar fighting units but by the relation of price and efficiency. At the same time, the game principle "stone, scissors, paper" is retained in order to exclude the absolute superiority of game units. Screenshots below represent Russian, German, US and British Commonwealth parties.

DescriptionThis set of screenshots is taken from the Soviet Campaign. The German troops advanced to Soviet territory, they were almost unstoppable and only several kilometers to Moscow remained. It was absolutely vital to stop the Germans and protect the capital, loosing Moscow would have caused a major impact on the morale. Thanks to courage and heroism the Soviet Army managed to stop the advancing Germans and changed the course of the whole war. Soon the German attack was finally stagnated, they could fought back to the Ukraine where the player slips into the role of a special operations officer behind enemy lines to help his comrades on the battlefields. The M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo variant tank from this set had even thicker frontal armor than the Tiger I. Intended for the assault to break out of the Normandy beachhead it entered combat in August 1944.

Description4 new Men of War screenshots capture the events of May 1941 when the landing operation on Crete started. Players group lands in the first echelon not far from Maleme where paratroopers, supported by chasseurs, take control of the aerodrome, giving an opportunity of landing to German aircraft with reinforcements and ammunition. Ammunition was very vital for the success of the mission, survivors of the invasion reported that they only had a couple of bullets left. Not only supplies but also German mountain troopers were sent as reinforcements through the captured airfield and made it possible to gain control over Crete.
