Q: The game goes to black screen when I try to open maps or leave the area.
A: Set all files in your 7.62\BMP\HUP\ to 'read-only'.
There are several files in the sub folders, so we recommend you do this once and then zip up a handy back-up if a re-install is needed later.
You need to change these when the game was not launched yet.
Try to uninstall your game, reinstall it, change the files to ‘read-only’ and then launch the game.
Also, change the in-game resolution to a different that 1024x768 if you are using it.
