Q: The game freezes during loading a mission. I am using Windows Vista.
A: Please, install the official Vista Patch: ftp://ftp.1cpublishing.eu/Patches/Freight_Tycoon/Freight_Tycoon_Vista_PatchNEW.rar
Q: The game has no sound at all.
A: Please, follow these few steps:
1) Please, reinstall the game first
2) Leave "Start menu shortcut" ticked only
3) Leave the other two unticked
4) Go to Start menu, choose Freight Tycoon directory, select Options (or Configuration)
5) Choose the Audio tab
6) Tick "Show configuration when the game start", the feature called "Reset ingame settings" should be unticked.
Q: While launching the game, an error message appears that a "d3dx9_XX.dll" file is missing.
A: Your DirectX is not fully updated. To launch the game, you have to download the DirectX Web Installer from Microfoft's website, run the file and let it do the update.
