Q: While launching the game the following error message appears:

A: It seems, that some of your profile files got corrupted during the crash.
Delete the "profiles" catalogue located
- in Windows Vista / Windows 7: C:\Users\your account\Documents\My Games\Men of War
- in Windows XP: C:\Documents and settings\your account\My Documents\My Games\Men of War
Q: While launching the game, an error message appears that a "d3dx9_XX.dll" file is missing.
A: Your DirectX is not fully updated. To launch the game, you have to download the DirectX Web Installer from Microfoft's website, run the file and let it do the update. Q: I do not know why I am given the following error during launching the game:
"[0x5daaa0][EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION][noncontinuable 1]>main".
A: Probably your desktop resolution is lower than 1024x768. "Men of War" needs at least 1024x768 to run.
Q: I forgot my multiplayer account details. What can I do now?

Using it, you can obtain your login. You can obtain your password, requesting it from GameSpy to your email using "I forgot my password" feature at GameSpy’s website: http://uk.gamespy.com/
Q: I cannot create a new account. The “Incorrect Password (cd: 514)” error appears all the time.
A: Most probably your e-mail address was not validated (it might have a lot of “_” symbols or similar). Please, create a new e-mail address (e.g. Gmail) and use it during multiplayer account creation.
Q: How to recover/change password on Gamespy?
A: Password recovery\change:
1) Open a browser and go to the address https://login.gamespy.com
2) Click I forgot my password!
3) Next, enter the email address you used when you created your account and click Send
4) On the specified mailbox sent a confirmation email - what is written in the window, click Close Window
5) In the mailbox, we find the email with the subject GameSpyID Password Reset Initiated and pass issued by the link
6) At this point, set your new password in the game account and click Reset GS
7) The next screen confirms the successful change password
8) Now run the Internet game, we enter a new password, press Enter
Q: Why does the game always ask for a CD-KEY?
A:
1. Search for Man of War *.exe file on your harddisk (can be found in the game folder)
2. right click the mouse button
3. select start "as Administrator"
4. enter CD-Key
5. Exit the game
6. Start the game and see if it helped.
Q: The game doesn't start. I'm using Windows 7 64bit, what's wrong?
A: Your operating system isn't supported for this game.
